Wakefield Remembrance Sunday Photography

In 2012 I attended the Remembrance Sunday event at the war memorial in the city centre. I wanted to capture the moving nature of this event using black and white film photography.

Medium and 35mm film format

I used a Mamiya C330F medium format camera along with a Fujica ST705 to produce contemplative images of the ceremony. I focused on the people, memorial and tributes laid to remember those who have been killed in conflicts around the world.

Hand processed and digitised negatives

After photographing at the event I hand processed and digitised the negatives, before editing them with Photoshop.

  Used a Mamiya C330F and 35mm Fujica ST705 in combination with Ilford HP5 Plus film processed by hand.

• Film Scanning

  Images digitised and edited in Photoshop.
