Photography from Yorkshire’s legendary Hillclimb venue
For the past 2 years I have been commissioned by the Speedscene magazine to photograph the Harewood Hillclimb events at the Yokshire venue.
This has included both national hillclimbing events, as well as the 60th year celebrations and events such as the Vintage hillclimb which takes place in June each year. Many of my photographs have been featured in the magazine, including a font cover photograph from one of the VSCC events. I’ve also had photographs featured on the Hillclimb and Sprint Association website, and in the Frazer Nash Car Club’s Cain Gang Gazette.
Spins, wins and fast things
During my time as photographer at the Harewood event I have seen many thrills and spills which I have been able to capture in photographs. I have photographed cars beating the hillclimb record, as well as amazing historic cars racing up the hill to try and get a class win.
I often have my images ready for professional printing the next day, giving magazine editors piece of mind knowing that photograph from Harewood will be prepared long before the deadline.
