I was lucky enough the be allowed to photograph the PPiK Ginetta 24 hour kart endurance race in Leeds, which was the first event of it’s kind in the UK. Low light, indoor conditions provided a new and challenging environment to photograph. Find out how I got on at this superb karting track.
In the summer I acquired a Mamiya C330F, a medium format TLR style 6×6 camera. With a 80mm f/2.8 lens, sliding bellows system and parallax compensation metre, this is a serious piece of film photography kit.
Over the 25th to the 28th of October, the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway held a beer and music festival at the Oxenhope station on their heritage railway line. I got the privilege of photographing the event, and took a long a trio of film and digital cameras.

The last events of the FIA GT1, British Formula 3 International and British GT championships were held on the 29th and 30th of September. I went along to the racing on the Saturday to photograph a variety of GT and single seater race cars at the Donington Park GP circuit.
